Where are you based?

We’re based in The MegaCentre Rayleigh. Parking can be limited, so we recommend if you can't get parked you can park opposite on the road. You can find us easily on Google Maps by searching our business name.

What should I wear to my session?

This depends on the type of session you’ve booked:

• Outdoor sessions: Comfortable footwear is key (sandals in the woods are never fun!).
• Maternity sessions: Floaty, light dresses work beautifully. I also have a selection of dresses available for use.
• Studio sessions: Natural colours, colour co-ordinated and avoid clashing and strong patterned clothing.

Feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to offer outfit advice for your specific session.

What should I bring?

Here’s a quick guide based on your session type:

• Newborn Sessions: Spare bottles (if bottle-fed) I suggest feeding on arrival also even if little one hasn't long fed this is to help keep them settled and content during the session, dummies, nappies, and any special outfits or comfort items (like a favourite teddy).
• Maternity Sessions: Scan photos, baby booties/shoes, and any sentimental items. Dresses can be provided or you can bring/rent your own.
• Cake Smash: Just bring your little one, their outfit, and a towel. I’ll handle the rest, including the cake and setup!
• Pet Photography: Bring favourite toys and treats to help keep them calm and engaged, especially in the studio.

You’re always welcome to message me with any questions ahead of your shoot.

When will I receive my images?

My typical turnaround time is 2–3 weeks, depending on the season (weddings excluded).

You'll receive a preview of 2–3 sample images within about a week.

Once you've chosen your favourites via your online gallery, I’ll complete the final edits and upload your full gallery.

For Cake Smashes: If you need the photos back in time for your child’s birthday, please book at least 3 weeks in advance.

What can I expect during my session?

A warm, welcoming, and relaxed environment. Every session is different, but I always focus on making the experience enjoyable for both adults and little ones.

If anyone is feeling nervous (especially children), I take a gentle, pressure-free approach — giving them time to settle, explore, and warm up to the space naturally. As a mum myself, I know how overwhelming it can be, and I’m here to make the process as smooth as possible.

Newborn Session Tips

For the best experience:

• Bring extra bottles (if needed), dummies, and nappies.
• If you’ve included family or sibling photos, we’ll do those first.
• I recommend having another adult available to take siblings home or out once they’re done — sessions can run long and warm, which can be tough for little ones.
