Cake Smashes are a fun and memorable way to celebrate your little one’s first birthday! They’ve become incredibly popular—and the best part? I take care of all the mess afterward.

That said, not every child dives right into the cake—some need a little encouragement from Mum or Dad during the session, so be prepared to get a bit messy too! To help your little one feel more comfortable, it can be helpful to introduce them to icing and cake textures in the days leading up to the shoot.

If your little one isn’t too keen on the cake, don’t worry—we finish every session with our adorable bathtub splash shots. These are a huge hit, often where the biggest smiles happen! The tub is filled with plain water (no bubbles or products), so it's allergy-friendly. Just don’t forget to bring a towel—it can get splashy!

Each session includes a beautifully baked, personalized cake from local cake artist Stella Bakes, designed to match your chosen backdrop. If your child has allergies, please let me know in advance—Stella offers allergy-friendly options too. Prefer something different? We also offer fruit smash sessions, and our strawberry backdrop is perfect for this fun, fresh alternative.
