Hey, I’m Sophia!

I’m Sophia, the heart behind Sophie-Lou Photography. I’m also a proud mummy of two, including a wonderful SEN child, so family life, beautiful chaos and capturing those little moments that pass far too quickly are very close to my heart.

Since 2014, I’ve been capturing love stories, growing families and all those special moments you never want to forget.

What started in a high street photography studio has grown into a business I absolutely love, offering wedding, newborn, maternity, family and cake smash photography across Essex and beyond.

Alongside me is my husband, Ashley my videographer, second shooter and my creative partner. Together, we’re a husband-and-wife wedding photography and videography team, travelling across the UK to capture beautiful wedding days in our relaxed, natural and storytelling style.

From tiny newborn details and messy cake smashes to emotional wedding mornings, packed dance floors and everything in between, we’re all about capturing the real moments, genuine emotions and memories that feel like you.
